Thank you for joining Hogwarts Online; The Future!
Here you will find the student application. This application will only be accepted till all places are full

Please take your time while filling the application out, for it will determine your character's sorting. Once you are finished, you will create a new thread in the applications board with the name of your character followed by what your character is.

EX: John Smith; Student

The Sorting Hat will then read over your application and will tell you where your character will be placed house-wise. Once you get a reply stating which house you were placed in, you may begin roleplaying. There are a few things you need to look out for.

1. If your character was 'Squibbed' that means that you do not seem fit for Hogwatys Online the Future. However, here at HOTF we give every person another chance to prove they can be a good roleplayer on the site. If your character is Squibbed, the Sorting Hat will review your application and tell you things it didn't like, what you should fix, etc. This is to help you better your roleplay skills. Once the Sorting Hat has reviewed your application, you will have three days to edit your application. If you do not do this, it will be moved to the DENIED APPLICATIONS board.

2. If your application is moved to the DENIED APPLICATIONS thread, there are a few reasons why and how you can get it back.

Why it was denied:

The Sorting Hat reviewed your application, but you failed to edit it within the three day limit.
You mysteriously became inactive before the Sorting Hat had a chance to review.

The only way you can get your application back once it has been moved to the DENIED APPLICATIONS thread is by PMing the Sorting Hat and asking it to move your applications back to the reviewing area. You may then edit your application and have it reviewed. However, if you do not edit your application within ONE day, it will be moved back and then locked. You may not have this application moved back - but you may re-apply.

I'd also like to point out that the Sorting Hat has the right to Squib your character if you fill out the application as to ensure that you get a specific house. I ask you not to do this, for it does not give everyone a fair chance. Please fill out the application TRUTHFULLY, that way your sorting will be best fit to your character.
