The fate of the Wizarding World.

In 1998, just before the Wizarding World where about to move into the twenty first century, what seemed like civil war broke out in England. All the strange rumors about you-know-who´s raise to power where proven true. And after the death of Albus Dumbledore, former headmaster of Hogwarts, few where able to stand against the dark lord risen from the death. For almost a year, he who will not be named terrorized the Wizarding World, holding it in a grasp of fear. He took over the Ministery of Magic, and put a prize on the head of every Muggle born, aswell as any wizard or witch unable to prove there blood connection to the Wizarding World. Many people died or vanished, and the Boy-who-lived seemed to have abandoned them all for good...

The final battle came a lot sooner, then anyone could have thought possible. But a year after, deatheathers attacked Hogwarts trying to force out, the boy who seemed to have slipped away from them again and again. The great batlle at Hogwarts is today well known for the fact that students, teachers, ghost and even Houseelfs took part in the fighting. In the end Hogwarts won the battle, the Boy-who-conquered killed you-know-who and gave peace to England. In the years that followed the Ministery of Magic was rebuild, not only in stone, but in spirit aswell.

The Boy-who-conquered never entered politics, he wanted nothing more then to become a normale Auror, and he did. Later he married and had children of his own. Non of them have yet become anything extrodinary, but hopefully they never have too.

3 years ago Headmistress of Hogwarts Minerva Mcgonagall resigned after several arguments between herself and the school board, with her left quite a lot of the schools former teachers. The Ministery of Magic had trouble dealing with the creatures in the forest and the rights they where given after the war, it even became so bad, that they had to close the school down. Many people worked to sort it out and bring back the school. A young man from the Ministery, Daelus al´Nethra took part in resolving the problems and where later appointed as Minervas succeser by the school board. He leads on the proud tradition of learning the students to defend themself, as they did at the great battle of Hogwarts. He running a highly international line, both in respect to those who helped at the battle, but also because it has become a very attrative school to attent, not just in the eyes of the english, but in the eyes of the rest of the world aswell...
